Yes! Our studio (and bathroom!) is 100% accessible with no stairs on the ground level, where classes are held.

At Black Cat Theatre, we are passionate about providing inclusive performing arts classes for children and young people of all abilities. Our disability performing arts classes in Warrawong offers a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where participants can explore drama, singing, dancing, music and creative expression while building confidence, coordination, communication skills, and friendships.
These classes were designed by Miss Priya, who grew up living with physical disability and neurodivergence, and now advocates for her students facing similar battles. Priya knows first hand how hard it can be to find your place, especially as a young person or child living with disability.
The classes were designed for children and teens with disabilities, additional needs, autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and neurodivergent learners, our classes focus on creativity, self-expression, social connection, and having fun in an encouraging environment. If you feel like your child is “too disabled” or “not disabled enough” we urge you to give it a try. There is no specific criteria a student must meet. If they enjoy it then why not enrol?! Every student is supported to participate at their own pace while developing performance skills, independence, teamwork, and self-esteem. A sibling, parent or support person is encouraged to join in alongside the participant.
At Black Cat Theatre, we believe accessible performing arts programs can empower young people to shine both on and off the stage. Whether your child is new to performing arts or already loves to sing, dance, and act, our inclusive performing arts classes celebrate individuality and help every performer feel accepted, valued, and celebrated.
